Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy (the “Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions under which enrolled Users may request cancellation of their registration and/or apply for a refund for services and courses offered by MSM Grad. By enrolling in any MSM Grad course, certification, or program, the learner (hereafter referred to as “You” or “Student” or “User”) agrees to this Policy in full.
General Conditions of Refunds
Refund requests are allowed only under certain conditions as described below. The decision to approve or reject a refund request lies solely with MSM Grad after a complete review of the case.
Refund requests will only be considered if the following conditions are met:
- The request is made within 7 calendar days from the date of enrollment/payment.
- Not more than 10% of the course content has been accessed or downloaded from the Learning Management System (“LMS”).
- No live session has been attended (Instructor Led Training/Virtual Class).
- The refund request is made in writing to the official student support email: support@dev.msmgrad.com with all relevant details.
Non-Refundable Circumstances
No refunds will be processed under the following conditions:
- The student has accessed significant course content (more than 10%) or attended any live/recorded sessions.
- The request is raised after 7 days from the enrollment/payment date.
- The student voluntarily discontinues or withdraws from the course after the commencement of the batch.
- Failure to provide required eligibility documents or meet minimum participation/attendance criteria.
- Courses or programs that have already been subsidized, discounted, or financed under CSR/EMI models.
- In cases of academic misconduct, plagiarism, or code of conduct violations by the learner.
- In cases of force majeure such as natural disasters, pandemic outbreaks, war, cyberattacks, or platform shutdowns due to external threats, no refund will be initiated.
Processing of Refunds
- All eligible refund requests will be processed within 21 working days of official approval.
- Refunds will be initiated via the same payment method used during enrollment unless otherwise specified in writing by the student.
- Transaction fees, bank charges, taxes (GST or otherwise), and payment gateway fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
- For courses availed through third-party vendors, partner platforms, or via university tie-ups, MSM Grad will only process refunds as per the original agreement with the host institution.
Program Cancellation by MSM Grad
In the rare case where MSM Grad cancels or postpones a scheduled course due to academic, administrative, or operational reasons:
- 100% of the paid amount will be refunded to the learner within 15 working days, or
- The student may opt to transfer the fees to another available program without penalty.
Transfer or Deferment of Enrollment
A student may request deferment or transfer to a future batch or another program only once under the following conditions:
- The request is raised at least 7 days before the current batch start date.
- Subject to availability of seats in the next cohort.
- A deferment/transfer fee of ₹2,000 + GST may be applicable.
- Deferment requests must be made in writing to support@dev.msmgrad.com.
Special Cases & Corporate/University Enrollments
- For corporate-sponsored or university-nominated learners, refund decisions will be governed by the agreement or MoU signed between MSM Grad and the sponsoring organization.
- For international learners, currency conversion charges and bank transfer deductions are applicable and borne by the student.
EMI & Loan-Based Enrollments
- Refunds for students enrolled through financing partners or EMI models (e.g., Eduvanz, Propelld, Bajaj Finance) will be subject to the financial service provider’s agreement and their respective refund/cancellation policy.
- MSM Grad will only initiate course cancellation communication; students must independently coordinate with the loan provider for EMI or interest-related refunds.
Duplicate/Accidental Payments
- Any accidental or duplicate payment made by a learner will be refunded in full within 7 working days upon written notification and validation from the finance department.
Legal Jurisdiction & Disputes
- All disputes related to refunds and cancellations shall be governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction falling under the Courts of New Delhi, India.
- The student and MSM Grad agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through conciliation/mediation before pursuing legal remedies.
- MSM Grad may share anonymized data with academic partners or accreditation agencies for statistical and quality assurance purposes.
